Episode 53. History of Money and Trade Part 7-Birth of a New World Order. Episode 26. An address delivered by the Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (may Allah be his Helper) at a reception held on the occasion of the inauguration of the first Ahmadiyya Mosque (Baitul Masroor Mosque) in Brisbane, Australia, on 23rd October 2013. Many dignitaries including state MPs, Legan State council men and mayors and the Queensland police commissioner attended the event.

Episode 4:The theme for this programme shall be on the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and we shall be hearing various poems that have been written in praise of him. We will be hearing: Some couplets of the poetry of Hazrat Hassan Bin Thabit who was also known as the ‘Poet of the Prophet’, as well as Maulana Jalal-Udin-Rumi who was a thirteenth century Persian poet. The inspiring poem written by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah, the translation of which is read by Atta-Ur-Rahman A poem called ‘Je Suis Muhammad’ written and presented with heartfelt by Hamza Ilyas, a poet originally from Brooklyn. A poem called ‘Our Leader’ written by the well known author Rashid Ahmad Chaudry and read by the young Master Haaris Ahmad. Zain Daniyal, who shares his poem named ‘An insignificant Praise’.

Episode 9: The Islamic Renaissance: The Historic Journey of Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih II, in 1924 In this episode, we explore the laying of the foundation for the London Mosque, known as the Fazl Mosque (House of Victories). We delve into the historical context behind this milestone, with a special focus on the extraordinary sacrifices made by the women of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, who contributed significantly to raising the funds needed for the mosque’s construction.

Episode 199. This programme explores the reality that of all the designations and high posts in societies around the world, women get the least recognition in them. We discuss how Islam requires us to be just to everyone whether male or female, old or young, regardless of race or creed. So, considering Islamic teachings we ask what should life of women be like at home? How can women assert their rights? Why are some countries prejudiced against Muslim women? What can help us break prejudices against women? We look at the answers Islam provides for the empowerment of women.

They needed financial security and marriage for many, was the only way. With changed circumstances, is it that” marriage “doesn’t really make sense anymore” for women? We explore that there is more to marriage than meets the eye and why Islam views marriage as extremely favourable.

On the evening of 30th September 2011, the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Caliph, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad May Allah be his helper delivered the keynote address at a special reception held to mark the inauguration of the Bait-un-Nasr Mosque in Oslo Norway. The event was attended by dignitaries including mayors, politicians, local community leaders and members of the local community.

One such society is Lajna Imaillah which celebrates its centenary in 2022/23. This reflective programme takes a look at the aims of the organisation and discusses with its diverse members how this institution remains relevant to the modern woman of faith.
