Season 6 Episode 7: In this episode we discuss the pertinent subject of power, both in physical terms and elementary. Reference is made to the attributes of God almighty. We delve deeper into man and free will and look at the rise of the Roman and Greek empires through the misuse of power. The character of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and the spiritual power he held is discussed in some detail. Finally the guidance of his Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (may Allah be his helper), is given with reference to the misuse of power and how man needs to turn to his Creator for peace.

Episode 46. On 17 March 2012, the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad May Allah be his helper delivered the keynote address at a special reception held to mark the inauguration of the Baitul Atta Mosque in Wolverhampton which is a major city, in the West Midlands.

Episode 4:The theme for this programme shall be on the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and we shall be hearing various poems that have been written in praise of him. We will be hearing: Some couplets of the poetry of Hazrat Hassan Bin Thabit who was also known as the ‘Poet of the Prophet’, as well as Maulana Jalal-Udin-Rumi who was a thirteenth century Persian poet. The inspiring poem written by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah, the translation of which is read by Atta-Ur-Rahman A poem called ‘Je Suis Muhammad’ written and presented with heartfelt by Hamza Ilyas, a poet originally from Brooklyn. A poem called ‘Our Leader’ written by the well known author Rashid Ahmad Chaudry and read by the young Master Haaris Ahmad. Zain Daniyal, who shares his poem named ‘An insignificant Praise’.

Episode 6: The Islamic Renaissance: The Historic Journey of Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih II, in 1924 In this episode, we delve into weeks three and four of the historic tour of England by Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad, may Allah be pleased with him. The episode covers key events, engagements, and interactions during this period, shedding light on the pivotal moments that defined his journey and the impact it had on the spread of Islam in the West.

Episode 41. Dr Mohammed Iqbal, the host of Living History, explores with fellow Panelists, Arif Ahmed and Prof Amir Sharif, the claim of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian to be the Promised Messiah and Mahdi. They also look at the founding of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and the re-introduction of Khilafat within Islam.The script is based on all approved material by senior Jamaat officials including Imam Sahib Ata ul Mujeeb Rashid that was prepared for documentaries to mark Khilafat Centenary celebrations in 2008.

Series 2. Episode 5. Death of Jesus according to the Holy Bible. Tune in to learn about the basic teachings of Islam. Tahir Selby is joined by Farhan Ali (a new convert from a Shi'ite background) and Stuart Chatto (a new convert from a Christian background) to discuss about Ahmadiyyat, the true Islam, in response to our Khalifah's desire that every Ahmadi Muslim should fully understand why they are an Ahmadi Muslim and what are the claims of the Promised Messiah (a.s)? In this programme they will discuss whether the Holy Bible states that Jesus died on the cross or not.

Episode 42. The vital theme Purpose of Life is explored through poetry, public viewpoints and finally though the enlightening verses of the Holy Quran and the sacred poetry of the Promised Messiah peace be upon him. This is the Part 1 of a series of 6 episodes on this vast theme, which shall follow in sequence The Symphony segment consists of thought provoking poetry of Bushra Khan, a visionary poet from East Sussex. The Viewpoint segment contains the first part of an interesting interview between a clinical pharmacist Madheea Iqbal and a registered nurse Satinder Kaur. The Inspirational segment commences with verses from the Holy Quran elaborating the Purpose of Life as well as recitation and explanation of poetry of the Promised Messiah peace be upon him related to the theme.

Tune is to hear recitation of the Holy Qur'an, Chapter 2 Verse 219-236. Recitation of the Holy Qur'an is by Maulana Feroz Alam.

Series 4 Episode 1: Can religion inspire scientific discovery, part 1. Verses from the Holy Quran on science and reflection are discussed and presented. For example, points such as the emphasis that the Holy Quran places on reflection and pondering. The episode then explores the relationship between scientific knowledge and spiritual knowledge, which is discussed in detail. Points on how one should approach spiritual knowledge, what is spiritual knowledge and physical knowledge and what are the boundaries of both. What commonalities and differences are described in the Holy Quran in relation to both. The insights from the Holy Quran, sayings of the Holy Prophet and the successors of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association are discussed. Points such as heaven and hell, and the laws of science and laws of spirituality are contrasted. The link between the two. Hereafter exists in the same space, multi dimensions. There is discussion about our limits of our understanding and continual evolving state of our understanding of the physical world, illustrated by a short discussion the changing model of gravity from Newtons to the present day.

Series 2. Episode 6. Truthfulness of the Prophet. Tune in to learn about the basic teachings of Islam. Tahir Selby is joined by Farhan Ali (a new convert from a Shi'ite background) to discuss about Ahmadiyyat, the true Islam, in response to our Khalifah's desire that every Ahmadi Muslim should fully understand why they are an Ahmadi Muslim and what are the claims of the Promised Messiah (a.s)? In this programme they will discuss the ten criteria found in the Holy Books to prove the truth of a prophet and how the Promised Messiah fulfilled each one.

Episode 179 – Existence of God. With the numbers of atheists and agnostics increasing in society, it is becoming ever apparent that many people are losing their belief in God. Where do these doubts about the existence of God arise from? Is it easier to lose belief rather than find answers to the questions one might have about God? This episode of Faith in Focus will be exploring different reasons people do not believe in God, discussing the most common arguments against the existence of God using both philosophical and Islamic arguments and discussing the benefits one has from believing in God and specifically, in following the words of Allah.

Episode 16. Our guest today is Dr Shakeel Ahmad, a Consultant Psychiatrist, who has over 20 years of working in different sub-specialties of adult psychiatry. During this time, he has also served in senior operational roles including Clinical Director for General Adult Psychiatry in Surrey, UK and as Chair of London Division, Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK. Dr Shakeel Ahmad has also been one of the contributors to WHO Guide on Mental Health to Primary Care, UK. He had an early interest in philosophy and development of human mind; as an undergraduate he co-founded an organisation to promote creative thinking amongst the youth through self-discipline. He has also been involved with research projects on the Holy Quran, within the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and is a regular contributor to the Voice of Islam UK radio. We discuss the development of the Human Mind, Cognition and Thought. We explore Mental Health including Anxiety & Depression, and what we can learn from Islam regarding the Mental & Spiritual progression of our minds.

Episode 19. Haven of Sisterhood (Lajna Ima’illah). Lajna Ima’illah is an auxiliary organisation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Although a religious organisation in nature, Lajna Ima’illah is also a part of our wider Community, and therefore, it caters the needs of women and supports them in their secular circumstances as well. A lot of what Lajna Ima’illah do, is dependent on how we, the women, interact with each other, and it is Allah the Almighty’s immense blessing that Lajna Ima’illah is gripped so tight in its values of unity and sisterhood. In this episode of Sisters on Air, we will explore and delve deeper into the sisterhood that drives this organisation forward.

Season 6 Episode 8: In this episode the topic of justice is discussed at length, with its many connotations around the world. The definition of Justice and the beliefs around the world as well as the imbalance of justice around the world will be discussed.
