What is the ‘Pathway to Peace’ show about?
The famous ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu once said:
“If there is to be peace in the world, There must be peace in the nations.
If there is to be peace in the nations, There must be peace in the cities.
If there is to be peace in the cities, There must be peace between neighbours.
If there is to be peace between neighbours, There must be peace in the home.
If there is to be peace in the home, There must be peace in the heart.”
Tune in every Sunday between 7-8pm, where each week the Pathway to Peace team takes a look at a particular problem facing society and analyses it from different perspectives; eventually trying to find what the Islamic perspective is in remedying such problems, that paves the way for a pathway to peace.
Reconciliation: Building back your connection with God
Now that the month of Ramadan has come to an end, there may be some who feel they were unable to build their relationship with God. In Islam, there is no room for pessimism, and one should always remain in hope that they can re-build their relationship with God, providing they bring about a lasting change in their bad habits.
In this week’s show, the Pathway to Peace team analyse what are those bad habits that create a distance between God and man; and how can man bring about a lasting change that can eradicate these bad habits, thereby granting him true inner peace?
