Continuing our series on Khilafat (Caliphate) in this episode we will look at the life and works of Hadrat Umar Farooq , the second successor to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Humanitarian Development - Water Scarcity: Water scarcity is one of the most urgent humanitarian and development challenges facing communities across the world.This programme explores the critical role of engineering in developing water systems that are reliable, sustainable and capable of serving communities for generations. From solar-powered pumping and water storage to infrastructure rehabilitation, maintenance and local technical training, we consider how engineering solutions can move humanitarian intervention beyond short-term relief. The discussion will also examine how engineers, volunteers and local communities can work together to build resilient water infrastructure that improves health, education, livelihoods and human dignity.

A Good Word: As Voice of Islam marks ten years of broadcast, and on the auspicious occasion of Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) UK, Faith in Focus examines the Qur’anic notion of ‘a good word’. Broadcasting live from Hadeeqatul Mehdi, we reflect on the importance and impact of language, media and words.

Work carried out by Humanity First in the previous year with a special look at the humanitarian work carried out in war torn areas. Our mission is rooted in the Islamic principle that serving humanity is a fundamental act of worship. We are committed to providing humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable and underserved regions of the world — irrespective of race, religion, or nationality. We will also touch upon the 10 year anniversary of the Voice of Islam Radio and how VOI has supported Humanity First in it's journey towards serving humanity.
